Jacklyn Lewis
Dr. Lewis is a clinical psychologist and is on the teaching faculty at the University of California, Irvine. In her clinical psychology practice, she provides consultation to individuals who are gifted or high performing including athletes, performers, coaches, executives, and gifted children, teens, and adults, as well as also consulting with schools and organizations regarding how best to serve these populations.
At the University of California, Irvine, Dr. Lewis teaches a variety of courses in psychology, including abnormal psychology, the psychology of violence, the psychology of influence, sport psychology, industrial-organizational psychology, clinical psychology, and the psychology of social behavior. She maintains a full-time teaching schedule in addition to her outside clinical work and is not conducting any active research at this time.
Dr. Lewis has a B.A. in social psychology from UCLA, a master's degree in clinical psychology from Pepperdine University, and a Ph.D. in both clinical and industrial-organizational psychology with a minor emphasis in sport psychology from United States International University (now called Alliant International University). She also holds a license in psychology in the state of California.
